A riveting true story

I never knew who Ross Perot was other than an independent presidential candidate! Ken Follet's recreation of the rescue of Perot's employees in Iran in 1979 was riveting and a real page turner and in real Ken Follet form. I was often not able to put it down. The fact that it's a true tale makes it all the more fascinating.

Free At Last

I had 1st read this book in jail and there was something Ross Perot says that I thought was brilliant. By the time I was released, rejoining society, & getting back on track, I completely forgot what words he used. So besides this book being a true, heroic story of a patriotic mission, the words I sought are now words I recite to myself when making a decision. If you want to know, you gotta read the book.

When things look bad and then go rotten, you need to know you have the best team working with you and for you. Ross Perot expected a lot of his people, but he looked out for his team. This is an extraordinary story of how determined Mr. Perot was to rescue his two employees from Iran.
