After spending 10 years as a project manager and tech writer for Electronic Data Systems, McDonnell Douglas, and others, Bonnie Biafore became a full-time financial-software writer in 1997. Good for Stand Alone Projects, Little information on Project Server

The book is a good for people with little project experience or as a reference for more knowlegeable users. I foud the blocked out mini overviews a very nice way to quicly tell a user how to do something high level and tehn drill down in the chapter. This made it an excelent reference as I did not need to read an entire section to figure out how to do somthing I just needed a little guidece with. If I needed more help, I could read the entire section.
However, the book only has one chapter on the Server pieces of Project. I found this lacking. I was hoping this would help me administer the project server I was handed when another PM left, but it did not help on that front at all.

Fast delivery; great product

I work in the PMO for a huge company and this manual is a great resource for both me and the PMs I support. I enjoy the writing style and manner in which it is laid out. (And I *love* that sample team member names are Ford, Arthur, Zaphod, Trillian, and Douglas.)
